CERTIFICATION INFORMATION |
What is certification?
Certification (Certificate To Do Business, CTDB) refers to the process used to document the status of a business as a bonafide minority (MBE) , women (WBE) or persons with disabilities (PDB) owned business. The business must be at least 51% owned, controlled, and operated by minority persons, women or persons with disabilities.
Why is certification important?
Certification is valuable because federal, state, local and private entities often set procurement goals, which involve the solicitation and utilization of certified businesses owned by minority persons, women, and persons with disabilities.
